Career overview
Smith moved from a triathlon background into cycling and rose quickly through the British system, joining Team TIBCO-Silicon Valley Bank as a stagiaire in 2021 before stepping up with EF Education-TIBCO-SVB. She represented England at the 2022 Commonwealth Games, competing in both the road race and road time-trial, and went on to race at Women’s WorldTour level with EF and Team dsm-firmenich PostNL. Her notable road results include 10th overall at the 2023 Women’s Tour Down Under and strong domestic time-trial performances. After four seasons in the Women’s WorldTour, she moved into gravel racing with Ribble Outliers for 2026.
