All UCI WorldTeams and two Swiss teams at the 2025 Tour de Suisse Men

22 teams will line up at the start of the Tour de Suisse in Kรผssnacht on Sunday, 15th June 2025. There will be 18 UCI WorldTeams and four teams from the second-highest level, UCI ProTeams. These ProTeams include two Swiss squads โ€“ Tudor Pro Cycling and Q36.5 Pro Cycling.

Two weeks after this year’s Tour de Suisse, the Tour de France 2025 begins in Lille. The worldโ€™s best cyclists will take to the streets of Switzerland to put the finishing touches to their preparations for the most important race of the season. As well as the 18 UCI WorldTeams that are obliged to participate in all WorldTour races, four strong UCI ProTeams will be at the start.

โ€œThe teams of Israel – Premier Tech and Lotto were invited as per the regulations. We have also extended wildcard invitations for the Tour de Suisse Men 2025 to both Swiss teams, Tudor Pro Cycling and Q36.5 Pro Cycling,โ€ says sports director David Loosli.

Tudor and Q36.5 to represent Switzerland

โ€œHaving two teams with Swiss licences at the start is very important for the Tour de Suisse and cycling in Switzerland,โ€ Loosli continues. Both teams could be fighting for promotion to the highest level โ€“ UCI WorldTeam โ€“ at the end of the year.

It is not surprising that Tudor team CEO Raphael Meyer is looking forward to June with great motivation.

โ€œThe Tour de Suisse is not only cycling at the highest level, it also generates a great deal of excitement and enthusiasm for the sport amongst people of all ages throughout Switzerland. We want to give the public a great show and will be chasing stage wins.โ€

Marc Hirschi, who joined Tudor this season, echoes Meyerโ€™s words.

โ€œThe Tour de Suisse really means a lot to me! As a little boy, I would watch from the roadside and dream of taking part in the Tour de Suisse myself one day. For me, the Tour is an absolute highlight of the racing calendar each year and itโ€™s always the chance to make a childhood dream come true.โ€

Perhaps the dream of his first stage win at the Tour de Suisse will become reality this year for Hirschi. With Julian Alaphilippe, the other Tudor superstar, by his side, he has every chance.

The mood is similar at the other Swiss team. Team manager Doug Ryder is delighted to be back at the start with Q36.5 Pro Cycling.

โ€œThe Tour de Suisse is a very important race for us as a Swiss team. Naturally, we are motivated and keen to do well at our home race, but we are also going to enjoy it together with our fans and partners.โ€

It will be interesting to see how the team performs with the likes of superstar Tom Pidcock, as well as Swiss talents Matteo Badilatti and Fabio Christen, supported by sports director Michael Albasini.

The teams participating in the Tour de Suisse Women will be announced as soon as this information is available.
