Career overview
Hirschi won the under-23 road world title in 2018 before breaking through at the highest level in 2020. That season he won a Tour de France stage, La Flèche Wallonne and finished third in the elite World Championships road race. After leaving Team Sunweb, he spent four seasons with UAE Team Emirates and became a prolific winner on hilly one-day races, including the 2024 Donostia San Sebastian Klasikoa and Bretagne Classic. Hirschi joined Tudor Pro Cycling Team in 2025, adding experience and one-day depth to the Swiss squad, and raced the 2026 Tour de France as part of Tudor’s expanding Grand Tour programme.
