Career overview
Van Rooijen developed through the Dutch domestic scene with WV Schijndel before stepping up to Parkhotel Valkenburg and the VolkerWessels structure. She gained major race experience early, including an appearance at the 2022 Tour de France Femmes, and continued to build around northern European one-day racing and stage-race support roles. Her results include 7th on a stage of the 2024 Giro della Toscana Femminile, 19th at GP Lucien Van Impe in 2025 and victory at the 2025 Zuiderzeeronde, where she led home a VolkerWessels one-two ahead of Scarlett Souren. She moved to DAS-Hutchinson for 2026.
