Scarlett Souren
Scarlett Souren is a Dutch professional cyclist who rides for VolkerWessels Cycling Team. A fast finisher suited to sprints and rolling one-day races, she has developed into one of the team’s leading young riders, combining professional victories with a silver medal at the European Under-23 Road Championships.

Career overview
Souren stepped up to UCI racing with Parkhotel Valkenburg in 2023 and finished second at the Egmont Cycling Race during her first professional season. Her breakthrough came in 2024, when she won GP Yvonne Reynders, the Giro della Toscana prologue and a stage of the Tour de Pologne Women, where she also finished second overall. She added silver in the under-23 road race at the European Championships and third overall at the Tour of Chongming Island. Souren continued winning in 2025 with victories at the Midwest Cycling Classic and Argenta Classic-Deurne, as well as a stage of the Tour de l’Avenir Femmes. She remained with VolkerWessels for 2026, adding further strong sprint results including second at Grote Prijs CHW Beveren.
