Career overview
López built a long Spanish road career, with her best results centred on national championships, domestic one-day races and stage-race consistency. She was 2nd in the Spanish national road race in 2009 and a repeated podium finisher in the Spanish national time-trial championship, including 3rd in 2011, 2012 and 2013, and 2nd in 2014. Her strongest stage-race result came at the 2015 Vuelta a Burgos Feminas, where she won the opening time-trial and overall title. López later returned to UCI racing with Massi-Tactic from 2019 to 2022 before retiring from professional cycling.
