Bigla-KATUSHA takes to the start of the inaugural Skoda V-Series Women’s Tour

While the peloton eagerly awaits the re-commencement of racing, Bigla-KATUSHA will be taking part in its first virtual race this coming week. In this event, each team will field three riders, who will participate in each stage of the race, which runs from Wednesday 17 to Friday 19 June, and kicks off at 20:00 CEST each evening. Stage 1 will consist of 38.7km, and will use the closing part of the final stage of the 2014 Women’s Tour into Bury St. Edmunds in Suffolk. The

following day, the riders will take on a 35.4km-long course that replicates the finishing circuit of the 2019 race’s hilltop finish at Burton Dassett in Warwickshire. The final stage of the inaugural Skoda V-Series e-race will take the riders over 35 laps of a 1km-long circuit around Canary Wharf, which offers a fast paced criterium around London’s business district to conclude this unique event.

The riders who will be representing Bigla-KATUSHA in this event are:

  • Lizzy Banks
  • Emma Norsgaard Jørgensen
  • Maria Vittoria Sperotto
