Brodie Chapman will join Liv AlUla Jayco on a two-year contract from 2027, giving the Australian WorldTour team another experienced all-rounder while she prepares for the arrival of her first child.
The official GreenEDGE announcement confirms a two-year deal for Chapman, who will leave UAE Team L’IMAD at the end of the 2026 season.
The move also provides the road-team answer that was missing when Chapman announced her pregnancy earlier this month. She had made clear that the personal news did not amount to a retirement announcement, but at that point had not confirmed where she would race next. Liv AlUla Jayco have now done that for her.
Chapman returns to an Australian WorldTour team
Chapman has spent the past two seasons with UAE Team L’IMAD after previously racing for Lidl-Trek, FDJ and TIBCO. The move to Liv AlUla Jayco puts her into an Australian WorldTour setup for the first time and gives the team a rider who can contribute across stage races, selective one-day events and time trials.
Her palmarès includes the 2023 Australian road title, the 2025 Australian time-trial title and two mixed relay team time-trial world titles with Australia. She has also built a reputation as one of the peloton’s most reliable support riders, particularly on harder terrain where teams need someone capable of surviving deep into the finale.

Chapman announced her pregnancy on Instagram earlier in October, at which point she did not set out a return-to-racing timetable or confirm her next team.
The Liv AlUla Jayco announcement changes only the second part of that picture. Chapman now has a confirmed team and contract through the end of 2028, but there is still no reason to assume when she will return to competition. That will depend on her circumstances and the plans agreed with the team.
The two-year deal does, however, make clear that both sides are planning beyond 2026. Liv AlUla Jayco are not signing Chapman for a short-term role before her pregnancy. They are committing to her for the next phase of her road career.
Experience for Liv AlUla Jayco’s 2027 group
Chapman adds another experienced Australian to a squad that has been reshaping its roster for 2027. Her strengths are useful precisely because she is not tied to one narrow role: she can work for a leader, ride aggressively from a break, handle difficult one-day races and still take her own chances when the opportunity appears.
That versatility should make her valuable once she is ready to race again. For now, the important point is simpler: Chapman has a new home for the next two seasons, and her road career is set to continue with Liv AlUla Jayco.
