Mavi Garcia
Mavi García is a Spanish professional cyclist who races for UAE Team L’IMAD. A strong climber and stage racer, she came to professional cycling relatively late after a background in athletics and duathlon and has since become one of Spain’s most successful riders. García is a multiple Spanish road race and time-trial champion, has finished on the Giro d’Italia Women podium and won a stage of the Tour de France Femmes in 2025.

Career overview
García moved into professional cycling with Bizkaia-Durango in 2015 before joining Movistar and then Alé BTC Ljubljana, where she developed into an international stage-race contender. She finished second overall at the 2020 Giro d’Italia Women and has won five Spanish road race titles and four national time-trial championships. García also won Giro dell’Emilia in 2021 and Trofeo Binda in 2022. After three seasons with Liv Racing and Liv AlUla Jayco, she returned to the UAE organisation for 2026. Her biggest recent victory came on Stage 2 of the 2025 Tour de France Femmes, making her the oldest stage winner in the race’s modern history. García finished 20th overall at both the Giro and Tour de France Femmes in 2026 and has extended her career into 2027.
