Career overview

Fisher-Black became New Zealand road race champion in 2020 before establishing herself among the leading young climbers in Europe. She won the Giro d’Italia young rider classification in 2021 and 2022, the latter season also bringing the under-23 World Championship road race title. She won a stage of the Tour de Suisse Women in 2023 and added victories at the Setmana Ciclista Valenciana and Giro d’Italia Women in 2024. After moving from Team SD Worx-Protime to Lidl-Trek, Fisher-Black enjoyed another major breakthrough in 2025, finishing fourth overall at the Tour de Suisse Women and taking silver in the elite World Championship road race in Kigali. She continued as a Grand Tour contender in 2026, finishing fifth overall at the Giro d’Italia Women and second on its final stage.
