Career overview
Vollering is one of the defining stage-race riders of her generation, combining elite climbing, strong time-trial ability and a sharp finish on hard terrain. She won Liège-Bastogne-Liège Femmes in 2021 and then dominated the 2023 Ardennes Classics, winning Amstel Gold Race, La Flèche Wallonne Femmes and Liège-Bastogne-Liège Femmes. Her Grand Tour breakthrough came with overall victory at the 2023 Tour de France Femmes, followed by further major stage-race success at La Vuelta Femenina, Itzulia Women, Vuelta a Burgos Feminas, Tour de Suisse Women and the Tour de Romandie Féminin. After becoming the leader of SD Worx-Protime, Vollering moved to FDJ-Suez for 2025 and continued as a leading GC contender.
