Slight changes in this 2022 for a Durango-Durango Emakumeen Saria that other times acted as a preview of the Bira and is now located between the two WorldTour rounds of our country: the new Itzulia and the already consolidated Vuelta a Burgos.
The route, of 113 km with start and finish in the Plaza Ezkurdi of the Biscayan town, has added to the passes through Miota -four, one less than in 2021- and the hard pair of final ascents to Goiuria (5.5 km to 5%), with the last ascent preceded by the Garai peak (ramps of up to 18%), the Areitio level, before the two decisive ones, with 1100m at 6% in three steps.
