Career overview
Cecchini has built one of the longest and most reliable Italian road careers of her generation, combining Classics experience, sprint strength and road-captain value. She won three consecutive Italian national road race titles from 2014 to 2016, then added national time-trial titles in 2018 and 2019. Her international wins include Le Samyn des Dames in 2014, the Thüringen Ladies Tour overall in 2016, a Giro Rosa stage in 2016 and the 2018 GP de Plouay. Cecchini also won the world team time-trial title with Canyon SRAM Racing in 2018. She joined SD Worx in 2021 and remained with Team SD Worx-Protime for 2026, which she has announced as her farewell season.
