Ella wins U23 ITT title at New Zealand nationals

I’m quite surprised but equally pleased to have won the U23 TT at Nationals; it’s my first NZ champions jersey and title at this level so a really neat accomplishment for me. The race was a massive unknown due to a lack of prior experience and specific training, so I tried to approach it as simply as possible by riding to feel and maintaining good form. It was great to finally put all the amazing team TT equipment to use and despite my previous reservations about the discipline of time trialling, I think there are plenty of improvements I can make and would even like to do more of them in the future.
