Career overview

King developed through the Welsh and British Cycling pathway after starting with Towy Riders, combining road racing with track endurance events. She won junior world team pursuit bronze in 2019 and later joined the Great Britain Senior Academy. On the road, she stepped up with Le Col-Wahoo in 2022 before continuing with Lifeplus Wahoo and Handsling Alba Development Road Team. Her strongest road results include 6th at GP Schellebelle in 2021, 8th in the 2022 Commonwealth Games road race for Wales, 8th in the 2022 British national road race and 9th at the 2022 Grand Prix International d’Isbergues. King has also represented Wales on the track, winning Commonwealth Games points race bronze in 2022.
