Career overview

Herfoss, formerly Emily Roper, has built a long Australian road career around strong domestic results, time-trial ability and consistency in hilly one-day races. As a junior, she won the Australian road race and time-trial titles in 2012 and finished 4th in the junior World Championship time-trial. Her elite breakthrough came after returning to top-level racing with the Roxsolt structure, finishing 9th overall at the 2019 Women’s Tour Down Under, 8th at the 2019 Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race and 6th overall at the 2019 Women’s Herald Sun Tour. Herfoss then finished 2nd at Race Torquay and 3rd in the Australian national time-trial championship in 2020, and continued racing with Roxsolt Liv SRAM into 2022, before retiring.
