Career overview
Gerritse developed through the Dutch road scene, winning the national junior road race title in 2019 before turning professional with Parkhotel Valkenburg in 2021. She showed stage-race promise early, finishing 3rd overall at the 2022 Thüringen Ladies Tour and winning the young rider classification, then wore the mountains jersey during the 2022 Tour de France Femmes. After joining Team SD Worx-Protime in 2024, Gerritse became an increasingly valuable puncheur and support rider. Her breakthrough came in 2025, when she won stage 3 of La Vuelta Femenina, and she extended with Team SD Worx-Protime through 2028. Gerritse added further strong results in 2026, including 2nd at Festival Elsy Jacobs à Garnich and 3rd at Antwerp Port Epic Ladies.
