Laura Asencio
Laura Asencio is a French professional cyclist who races for Ma Petite Entreprise. A versatile all-rounder with particular strength on rolling and hilly terrain, she has spent much of her career competing at the highest level of European women’s cycling. Asencio is a former French under-23 road race champion and has developed into an experienced stage racer, with appearances at the Tour de France Femmes and strong results across the French and Spanish one-day calendars.

Career overview
Asencio joined WNT-Rotor Pro Cycling in 2019 after producing strong results as a young rider, including fifth in the under-23 road race at the 2018 European Championships. She became French under-23 road race champion in 2020 and spent six seasons within the WNT organisation, gaining extensive experience in WorldTour stage races and Classics. Asencio moved to Arkéa-B&B Hotels Women for 2025 before joining Ma Petite Entreprise in 2026. Her first season with the French team included second at Pionera Race-SCV, 11th in the French road championship and a second career appearance at the Tour de France Femmes, where she finished 32nd overall.
