After hyping up the crosswinds yesterday it turned out the roads were tree-lined and a little bit too much of the stage was spent in built-up areas. Today’s provides the opportunity again with the wind conditions a little bit nicer for echelons with a strong 13mph NW wind hitting the riders as they go South and then SE. One straight stretch in particular looks strong on the map and teams will be looking to try something there today. Failing all that, it should come down to another sprint finish with Lorena Wiebes the big favourite again after yesterday’s win.
