Happy to be in front of the Omloop Van de Wetshoek, Lucie Jounier however has some regrets about this fall that occurred in the final and which perhaps deprives her of anything other than this beautiful eighth place acquired with courage.

Lucie Jounier: “It was off to a good start but I fell in the breakaway and I had to change my bike,” says Lucie. I had to take my mule but it was equipped with tires and in the cobbled area they returned less. The instructions were to be well placed, borders had been announced to us by Franck during the briefing. The SD Worx mounted in quick succession, and a group broke away but I was not there. I then went out with Christine Majerus and we both went back to the girls who were in front. I like these events which require attention, they are warrior races, you must never let go and I like it ”.

Franck Renimel: “We wanted to do in the top ten, but we could hope for better because Lucie fell hard in the breakaway. She is courageous because she will look for a good eighth place all the same.
