Swiss Marlen Reusser don’t disappoint the predictions and confirms herself as Swiss national time trial champion.
The athlete of the team Alé BTC Ljubljana, celebrates with the title, her third personal victory of the season, confirms her great skills in time trials and, after the medal obtained at the last ITT World Championship in Imola, with this new success, looks with great ambitions towards the next Olympics Games in Tokyo.
“I’m very happy to have been able to defend the title of national champion. I really wanted it, I had prepared myself and I was confident that I could do a good performance. I’m satisfied, but I think there is still a lot of work to do on the way to Tokyo,” was Marlen Reusser’s comment.
The Swiss athlete rode the 20.4 km course in Chalet-à-Gobet with a time of 28:21, 1’35” ahead of Melanie Maurer and 2’54” ahead of Fabienne Buri.
On Sunday, June 20th, Reusser will also participate in the road race of the Swiss Championship.
