Paladin: “We will be ambitious again in Spain”

Liv Racing is preparing for a series of Spanish races. Next Thursday, the team will ride the Emakumeen Nafarroako Women’s Elite Classics (128 kilometres). The next day, Pamplona will host the Navarra Women’s Elite Classics (125 kilometres). Liv Racing is competing with Sabrina Stultiens, Pauliena Rooijakkers, Sofia Bertizzolo, Marta Jaskulska and Soraya Paladin.

“I can’t wait to get back into racing with Liv Racing. After the Ardennes Classics I went back to Italy to take a short break. I then quickly started building up again for the Spanish races. Meanwhile, I saw the team at work in Luxembourg. And I must say, my colleagues were doing a perfect job. That of course motivates me enormously”, says Soraya Paladin, who has been up front on several occasions this spring.

“In Spain we can go for good results again. Pauliena Rooijakkers and Sabrina Stultiens are made for Spanish climbing. Sofia Bertizzolo can finish fast. We are strong and we have to have faith in our strengths. Like earlier races this season, we will go all in.”

After the Navarra Women’s Elite Classics, the team will stay in Spain for new races, scheduled next week.
