Team SD Worx and Specialized Bicycles have renewed their commitment to women’s road racing as they extend their partnership, a collaboration nearing an impressive decade. The alliance between the two has been instrumental in the team’s success, evidenced by top-tier performances like Demi Vollering’s win at the Tour de France Femmes and Lotte Kopecky’s World Championship and Flanders victories.

Demi Vollering reflected on her past year, emphasising that the support from Specialized was crucial in making her dream a reality. She added that she looks forward to achieving more milestones with the Specialized Tarmac SL8 in the upcoming year. Similarly, Lotte Kopecky shared that the Specialized and Team SD Worx collaboration played a part in her decision to join the team in 2022. Riding an S-Works bike for the first time gave her a “wow” feeling, she noted and expressed her confidence in the equipment and the backing behind Team SD Worx.

Scott Jackson, the Leader of S-Racing at Specialized, commented on the continuation of the relationship with Team SD Worx through to 2028. He expressed pride and honour in supporting a team that has achieved significant success. The long-term partnership enables Specialized to delve into the technical aspects in detail to help the best athletes perform at an elite level on the global stage, Jackson stated.

Specialized Bicycles, founded by Mike Sinyard in 1974, says that remains focused on developing functional and technically advanced products that enable peak performance for riders.
