Career overview
Kern has been a regular contender in the Slovenian road race championship throughout her career, finishing second four times and third on eight occasions. Internationally, she finished fifth at the 2014 Giro dell’Emilia and sixth in the 2018 Mediterranean Games road race before developing into a stronger stage racer. Her best general classification results include seventh at the 2021 Setmana Ciclista Valenciana and ninth at the Tour Cycliste Féminin International de l’Ardèche that year. Kern joined Cofidis in 2023 and finished sixth at the Alpes Grésivaudan Classic and 18th at Strade Bianche during her first season. After racing for Lifeplus Wahoo in 2024, she returned to Cofidis for 2025 and remained with the French team in 2026.
