Career overview

Gloag developed at Herne Hill Velodrome before progressing through Trinity Racing and winning a stage of the 2022 Tour de l’Avenir. He joined the Jumbo-Visma structure late that season and made his Grand Tour debut at the 2023 Giro d’Italia. His progress was interrupted by serious injuries, including a road accident and later elbow fractures, but he returned to racing and finished eighth overall at the 2025 Tour Down Under. Gloag moved to Pinarello-Q36.5 for 2026, where he resumed a climbing and stage-racing programme and completed the Vuelta a España, rebuilding momentum after several disrupted seasons.
