The Ladies Tour of Norway starts for Movistar Team a series of five stage races throughout Europe in just over a month and a half. This will be, in addition and in principle, the last edition with its current name of the Women’s Tour of Norway, whose organisers, in collaboration with the Danish and Swedish federations, plan to turn the race in 2022 into the ‘Battle of the North’, over six days, all over Scandinavia.
It will be a tough route in this 10th edition, with long stages always over 140 km, very winding and an unprecedented high finish: Norefjell (Saturday 14), 11 km at 6%. This climb will mark a race that will begin, on Thursday 12th, with a final ramp at Sarpsborg (4%), and which will face a tough incline near the finish of Mysen (Friday 13th, 2nd stage). The closing in Halden (Sunday 15) is the most suitable for sprinters.
