Uno-X Mobility has revealed its lineup for the upcoming Tour de France Femmes, set to commence in Rotterdam on 12th August. The team is eager to display its riders’ strength and determination in one of women’s cycling’s most prestigious events.
Main Riders
Anouska Koster has been a standout performer this season, notably winning the Kreiz Breizh Elites Dames. Her consistent excellence positions her as a crucial member of the team. “We continue to build around the most prominent profiles, and having riders like Anniina Ahtosalo and Anouska Koster is a testament to our team’s strength,” says General Manager Thor Hushovd.
Mie Bjørndal Ottestad, fresh from her Norwegian National Road Race Championship victory, is another key rider. Her rising form signals her potential impact on the race. Simone Boilard, who had a challenging start to the season with a crash, is now in promising form, expected to excel in the mountainous stages of the Tour de France Femmes.
The team’s selection process prioritised riders who have consistently delivered strong performances throughout the season. Mie Ottestad has shown her reliability during the spring season, particularly in lead-out roles on flat stages, and her versatility makes her valuable on diverse terrains.
Reflecting on last year’s race, Hushovd said, “We had a solid presence in last year’s race. This year, we have assembled a team that we believe can surpass last year’s achievements. We aim to be visible in all stages and hopefully fight for a stage win.”
With a mix of lead-out skills, climbing abilities, and overall riding strength, Uno-X Mobility is well-prepared for the varied challenges of the Tour de France Femmes 2024.
