Career overview
Ottestad first became Norwegian road race champion in 2020 before winning the national time-trial title in 2023. Her international breakthrough came with overall victory at the 2024 Tour de Normandie Féminin, where an aggressive final-stage ride overturned the general classification. She also won consecutive Norwegian road titles in 2024 and 2025. The 2025 season brought another step forward, including third overall at the Women’s Tour Down Under and further stage-race success, while she began 2026 with a notable third place at Trofeo Alfredo Binda.
