CANYON//SRAM Racing quickly continue with the Women’s World Tour calendar when it races double-header weekend in Vårgårda, Sweden. The team’s roster for the 35.6km TTT on Saturday 6 August and the 125.7km road race on Sunday 7 August is Alena Amialiusik, Shari Bossuyt, Neve Bradbury, Maud Oudeman, Pauliena Rooijakkers.
The TTT makes a welcome return to the calendar after a three-year hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Amialisuik and Rooijakkers played valuable roles in Kasia Niewiadoma’s GC third place and CANYON//SRAM Racing’s team classification win at Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift that finished on Sunday.
“I’m feeling good this week in training and motivated to be here in Sweden,” says Amialiusik.
“We have a mix of experience in the TTT, and I’m looking forward to sharing my knowledge with my teammates. It’s such a nice discipline, and I hope we have a smooth and strong race together.”
