Demi Vollering claimed victory in the stage three individual time trial of the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift, completing the 7.1km course in Rotterdam with a time of 7:25. Her performance, highlighted by an average speed of 59.5 km/h, was enough to displace world time trial champion Chloé Dygert, who had briefly held the top spot with a time just five seconds slower. Vollering was tied with Dygert at the intermediate split but gained time in the second half to secure the win.
The time trial saw multiple riders set competitive benchmarks throughout the day. Lois Adegeest led for much of the stage with a 7:30 effort before being overtaken by Dygert by just 0.17 seconds. Kristen Faulkner and Mischa Bredwold also posted strong rides, finishing just seconds behind the leaders. Pfeiffer Georgi, the British national road champion, finished ninth, 10 seconds off the winning time.
Vollering’s exceptional display moved her into the race lead, overtaking Charlotte Kool, who finished 25 seconds down.
