Team Coop – Hitec Products have strengthened their squad with the signing of Norwegian rider Stine Dale, who will join the team with immediate effect. The 23-year-old, who also competes internationally as a triathlete, will combine both sports while riding for the Norwegian-based UCI Continental team.
Dale caught the team’s attention with her performances at the recent Norwegian Championships. In the individual time trial she placed 6th despite riding on a standard road bike rather than a time trial setup, and in the road race she rode aggressively before finishing 11th.
“I am really excited to be a part of the team,” Dale said. “I think Team Coop – Hitec Products seems like a fun group to be a part of, so I’m looking forward to getting to know everybody and of course race with them. I’m really grateful for this opportunity.”
The team will publish a longer interview with Dale in due course, exploring her background and her ambitions as she begins this new chapter in her cycling career.
