Career overview
Van Rooijen developed through Watersley Women Team before moving into the AG Insurance-NXTG structure, where she began to show her finishing speed in northern European races. Her first UCI victory came at the 2023 Grote Prijs Yvonne Reynders, followed by overall victory at the 2024 Ladies Tour of Estonia. She also became Dutch derny champion in 2024, underlining her track background as well as her road speed. Van Rooijen later raced with Team Coop-Hitec Products and Team Coop-Repsol, taking on a broader European calendar, before joining Citymesh-Customm Pro Cycling Team for 2026.
