Lorena Villamizar
Lorena Villamizar is a Colombian cyclist who races for Equipo Bogotá-IDRD-Licibog-Lotería de Bogotá. A strong climber and stage racer, she has developed into one of Colombia’s most consistent riders across the Latin American calendar. Villamizar has produced major general classification results at the Vuelta Internacional Femenina a Guatemala, Vuelta Internacional Femenina a Costa Rica and Tour of the Gila, while also becoming a regular contender in the Colombian national championships.

Career overview
Villamizar established herself in Colombian racing before enjoying a breakthrough international campaign in 2023, finishing second overall at the Vuelta Internacional Femenina a Guatemala and fourth at both the Vuelta a Colombia Femenina and Vuelta Internacional Femenina a Costa Rica. She joined Boneshaker Project for 2024 and finished sixth in the Pan American road race, fifth in the time-trial and third at Grand Prix Surf City. Back with Pato Bike BMC Team in 2025, Villamizar finished fourth overall at the Tour of the Gila and third in both Guatemala and Costa Rica. She returned to Equipo Bogotá for 2026 and finished fifth in the Colombian road championship before placing ninth overall at the Vuelta a Colombia Femenina.
