Fenix-Premier Tech have added three more riders to their 2027 plans, with Julia Borgström and Karolina Perekitko joining the WorldTour squad while British rider Rebecca Gardiner has been given a four-year pathway through the development team and into the top level.
Borgström and Perekitko have both signed for the 2027 and 2028 seasons. Gardiner will spend 2027 and 2028 with the Fenix-Premier Tech development team before stepping up to the WorldTour squad for 2029 and 2030.
The three signings cover very different points in a rider’s development. Borgström is returning to WorldTour level after a season with Hitec Products-Fluid Control, Perekitko earns her first WorldTour contract after progressing through the French continental scene, and Gardiner gets the longest runway of the three as Fenix-Premier Tech invest in a 19-year-old British rider still at the start of her senior career.
Rebecca Gardiner gets four-year Fenix-Premier Tech pathway
Gardiner’s agreement is the most long-term of the three. She will race for the development team in 2027 and 2028, with her promotion to the WorldTour squad already built into the deal for the following two seasons.
The 19-year-old spent 2026 with KDM-Pack Women Cycling Team and also represented Great Britain at the Tour of Britain Women. Her season included third places at Ronde van Twente and Zottegem-Erwetegem, fourth at the Berchem Classic and a first taste of Women’s WorldTour racing on home roads.
Gardiner described the move as “the perfect next step in my development”, with the structure giving her two full seasons to develop before the jump to WorldTour racing.
Julia Borgström returns to WorldTour level
Borgström’s move brings her back to a Belgian WorldTour structure after a year away from the top division. The Swedish rider spent 2024 and 2025 with AG Insurance-Soudal before joining Hitec Products-Fluid Control during the 2026 season.

She also returned to the Tour of Britain Women, finishing 44th overall.
Borgström said the team’s culture and ambitions suit her, adding that “coming back to Belgium feels a bit like coming back to a second home”. ProCyclingUK has followed her development since her early years, including her first Tour de France Femmes season.
Karolina Perekitko earns first WorldTour contract
Perekitko will also join the WorldTour squad for 2027 and 2028 after a strong season with Mayenne Monbana My Pie. The 28-year-old Polish climber has built her career progressively through smaller teams and now gets her first contract at the highest level.

Her 2026 season included seventh overall at the Volta Ciclista a Catalunya Femenina and 39th overall at the Tour de France Femmes. She also finished 13th at Brabantse Pijl and has increasingly looked comfortable against WorldTour-level opposition despite racing for a ProTeam.
Perekitko called the move “a big opportunity”, saying she wants to keep developing and see how far she can go at the highest level. The signing completes another step up after her earlier progression through Winspace Orange Seal before moving to Mayenne Monbana My Pie for 2026.
Fenix-Premier Tech continue building for 2027
The three arrivals fit the wider recruitment pattern at Fenix-Premier Tech. The team have mixed riders ready to contribute immediately at WorldTour level with longer-term development signings, rather than filling every place with established names.
Borgström adds experience across one-day races and stage races, Perekitko strengthens the climbing group, and Gardiner gives the team a rider they can develop gradually without forcing an immediate WorldTour jump. With each on a multi-year agreement, the squad are continuing to build beyond a single season rather than treating 2027 as a one-year reset.
