Cecilie Uttrup Ludwig will join Uno-X Mobility from 2027 after signing a two-year contract with the Scandinavian WorldTour team.
The 31-year-old Dane will leave Canyon SRAM at the end of 2026, bringing her two-season spell with the German team to a close. She joined Canyon SRAM from FDJ-SUEZ ahead of the 2025 season on a deal that ran through the end of 2026.
For Uno-X Mobility, the signing adds one of the most experienced Scandinavian riders in the women’s peloton to a squad that has been steadily strengthening its stage-racing group. Uttrup Ludwig brings Grand Tour leadership experience, a Tour de France Femmes stage win and a World Championships medal to a team that has made top-10 stage-race results one of its stated priorities.
Uttrup Ludwig leaves Canyon SRAM after two seasons
Uttrup Ludwig’s move to Canyon SRAM was confirmed in 2024, when she signed a two-year contract to leave FDJ-SUEZ. At the time, the move was viewed as a chance to combine her stage-racing and one-day strengths with a team already built around aggressive racing.
The past two seasons have not produced the same level of results she managed at her peak, but 2026 has still included several solid performances. She finished eighth overall at the Tour of Britain Women, 18th at the Giro d’Italia Women, 20th at La Vuelta Femenina and 12th in the European Championships road race.

That form is some way below the period when Uttrup Ludwig was regularly competing for major Classics podiums and Grand Tour stage wins, but it also shows she remains capable of finishing high in WorldTour stage races. Uno-X will be hoping a change of environment helps her recover more of that level.
Uno-X add a proven Grand Tour and Classics leader
Uttrup Ludwig has 18 professional victories across her career. The biggest came on Stage 3 of the 2022 Tour de France Femmes, when she won the uphill finish at Épernay. She also won the Tour of Scandinavia overall that year and took bronze in the 2023 World Championships road race.
Her one-day record is just as relevant to Uno-X. She has finished on the podium three times at Trofeo Alfredo Binda and has also placed second at La Flèche Wallonne. Those results came from the same mix of climbing strength and acceleration that has made her effective in hilly Classics and selective stage-race finishes.
Uno-X Mobility have been building more depth around both Grand Tour GC ambitions and the Ardennes-style races. Uttrup Ludwig gives them a rider who can lead in both areas while also taking pressure off younger Scandinavian riders still developing at WorldTour level.
A Scandinavian move at an important point in her career
The transfer also brings Uttrup Ludwig back into a Scandinavian team structure for the first time in several years. That fits naturally with Uno-X Mobility’s identity as a Norwegian-Danish project and gives the team one of Denmark’s most recognisable riders.
At 31, she is not being signed as a development project. The expectation will be that she contributes immediately, particularly in stage races and hilly one-day events where Uno-X want to move closer to the front of the WorldTour.
The two-year deal keeps Uttrup Ludwig with Uno-X through the end of 2028. After a quieter period by her own standards, the move offers a clear reset and gives Uno-X another established leader as the team continues to expand its ambitions at the highest level.
