Career overview
Teruel has built a long-running career as a durable Spanish road rider, developing through Lointek before spending four seasons with Movistar. She showed her stage-race ability early, winning the 2017 Volta Ciclista Valencia Feminas overall, along with the points classification, young rider classification and stage 1. Her later results included 10th at the 2017 Madrid Challenge by La Vuelta, 4th at the 2018 Grand Prix de Dottignies, 10th at Le Samyn des Dames in 2020 and 4th at the 2023 Egmont Cycling Race. With Laboral Kutxa-Fundación Euskadi, she added 3rd at the 2024 Grand Prix International d’Isbergues.
