Career overview
Sharpe came into cycling after a triathlon background and built a dual road and track career with Ireland. On the road, she became Irish national road race champion in 2019 and 2022, and has also placed 3rd in the national road race in 2018 and 4th in 2023. Her international road results include 7th overall at Kreiz Breizh Elites Dames in 2019, 8th at the 2022 SwissEver GP Cham-Hagendorn and 10th at the 2022 Vuelta a la Comunitat Valenciana Feminas. On the track, Sharpe represented Ireland at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games and was part of the team pursuit squad that won European bronze in 2021.
