Amber Kraak has extended her stay at FDJ-SUEZ, committing to the French team until at least the end of 2027. The Dutch rider, who joined the squad at the beginning of the 2024 season after three years with what was then Jumbo-Visma, has quickly established herself as a key figure, both on and off the bike.
Since her move, Kraak has enjoyed a breakthrough period. She took her first WorldTour victory at the 2024 UAE Tour Women, surprising the sprintersโ teams by attacking late and holding them off to win a stage solo. It was a result that immediately underlined her ability to seize opportunities and deliver for her new team.
In 2025, Kraak has continued to show her value, particularly with an eighth-place finish at Le Samyn, one of her strongest results of the year so far. Alongside her individual results, her role as a loyal domestique has often been critical to FDJ-SUEZโs collective ambitions. It’s also been an eventful year, which saw Kraak survive a plane having to land without a working landing gear, with thankfully no repercussions.
The team has rewarded Kraakโs consistency and commitment with a two-year contract extension. General Manager Stรฉphen Delcourt said: โAmber brings stability, which is invaluable. Her determination and work ethic are a perfect fit for the team values. She quickly found her place both on the bike and within the team environment and has become an essential rider for us.โ
FDJ-SUEZ praised Kraakโs evolution as a dependable rider within the team structure, noting her endurance and tactical awareness as major assets. Her willingness to sacrifice personal ambitions for the benefit of her teammates has only strengthened her standing within the squad.
Reflecting on her new deal, Kraak said: โI am happy to extend my contract for another two years. Over the past two seasons, I have received a lot of support in my development, and I am really impressed by how the team itself has grown. The team’s ambitions motivate me to keep fighting for our shared dreams.โ
With her contract now secured, Kraak will continue to play a key role as FDJ-SUEZ builds towards even bigger goals in the coming seasons.
