Career overview
Kraak came to professional cycling from rowing, having been a Dutch Olympic rowing reserve before joining Team Jumbo-Visma in 2021. She quickly developed into a strong time-triallist, rouleur and breakaway rider, finishing 2nd at Classic Lorient Agglomération in 2022 before winning La Périgord Ladies in 2023. That season also brought 3rd overall at the Tour of Scandinavia and 9th overall at the Tour de Suisse. After moving to FDJ-Suez, Kraak won stage 4 of the 2024 UAE Tour and added a string of strong one-day results, including 5th at Paris-Roubaix Femmes, 6th at Brabantse Pijl and 8th at Amstel Gold Race.
