On Redoute Deignan attacked, she swiftly gained 25 seconds in front of Grace Brown who counter-attacked. Deignan kept her lead till the line holding Brown of who finished second. What left was a battle for the third place with Ellen van Dijk, Marianne Vos and Amy Pieters. Van Dijk was the strongest taking third place, Vos fourth and Amy fifth.

Amy Pieters, “I am happy with the way I raced today. The team performed well and formed a strong block. I am a little bit disappointed with my sprint but congratulations to the way Trek-Segafredo raced today.”
