British cyclocross talent Anna Kay has made a significant move for her cyclocross and road career, departing from Cyclocross Reds (formerly 777) to continue her career with Proximus-Cyclis-Alphamotorhomes. The 24-year-old rider expressed her excitement about the transition, highlighting her eagerness to tackle both cyclocross and road races with her new team.

Confirming her commitment to a two-year contract, Kay emphasised her enthusiasm for the upcoming seasons with Proximus-Cyclis-Alphamotorhomes. “I’m very excited about the prospect of competing for Proximus-Cyclis-Alphamotorhomes over the next two seasons. I knew after my initial discussions that it would be a good fit,” she stated in a press release. “I believe it’s a very positive and supportive environment for further growth.”

While maintaining her focus on cyclocross, Kay expressed her anticipation for supporting the team on the road and continuing her development as a road cyclist. “I’m highly motivated to showcase my abilities in the British champion’s jersey when we return to the cyclocross circuit in September. Let’s make something special happen!”

Anna Kay’s Achievements

Kay, who concluded her cyclocross season after the Exact Cross of Maldegem, claimed the British cyclocross title earlier this year. While often finishing outside the top-10 in major cyclocross events, she has demonstrated promising performances, including a third-place finish at the Koppenbergcross, fourth in Loenhout, fifth in Herentals, and sixth in Otegem.
