Career overview

Kay has been one of Britain’s strongest cyclocross riders of her generation, combining domestic dominance with international under-23 podiums. She won silver at the 2019 European under-23 cyclocross championship and bronze at the 2020 UCI World under-23 cyclocross championship, then continued to build at elite level. Her results include the British elite cyclocross title in 2024, World Cup top-10s and a Koppenbergcross podium in the X2O Badkamers Trophy. Kay has also shown road ability, finishing 4th in the 2018 British national road race and 9th at Erondegemse Pijl in 2019, while keeping cyclocross as the main thread of her career.
