Biehler Krush Pro Cycling adds Melissa van Neck to the team

In 2021 Melissa van Neck will compete for Biehler Krush Pro Cycling (in 2021 GT Krush Tunap).

Melissa already has experience in the peloton. She previously drove for Dukla Praha and BePink. Why did Melissa choose this step in her career?

Melissa: “In recent years I have been able to follow the development of the team from a distance and I have been impressed by the organisation and commitment of the team. But also of the vision that lies behind it. It’s nice to be part of that. From conversations with riders of the team, I also concluded that the atmosphere within the team is good. In addition, the competition programme seems to suit me well. ”

Melissa expects an interesting race schedule next season. “First of all, I want to get to know the riders and coaches well. And of course, I hope that as a team we can show good things and results. I also hope to make some steps myself on a physical level.

“My ambitions are twofold.”

Due to her employment with foreign teams, Melissa has been able to look around the UCI peloton over the past four years. She can put that experience to good use at Biehler Krush Pro Cycling in the coming years. “Usually I am able to read the race, which can be of value for setting out the race tactics and making decisions in full swing.”

“My ambitions for the coming years are twofold,” says Melissa. “Within the team, I would like to use my insight, experience and strength in such a way that we as a team function perfectly and can show beautiful things in competitions. In addition, and also due to the experiences I get from the team and the race, I want to improve myself as a rider and the national championships in the Czech Republic are an important personal goal.

In any case, I am looking forward to the new step and cooperation with the team. ”
