Busy month coming up for Liv Racing Xstra

The team kicks off a very busy month with the GP Eco Struct, a Belgian one day race.

After a busy spring classic campaign the team now heads into a busy month again. Liv Racing Xstra will be active in Belgium and Spain this weekend, but also in the coming weeks. The purple train will also head to The Netherlands and England for some races.

Saturday the team will start with four riders in the GP Eco Struct: Rachele Barbieri, Valerie Demey, Eva Buurman and Quinty Ton. The Belgian race contains five laps of 21,6 km each and ends with four times a local lap of 7,1 km.

In case of a bunch sprint the team will aim for a good result with Barbieri. The Italian Liv Racing Xstra rider raced on the track the last couple of weeks and now makes her return to the road. “I think the track races were good for me. I did some really good work there and hope I can take advantage of it during the road races. After the last World Cup I had some rest days to recharge the batteries for the second part of the season. I`m really happy that the team gives me the opportunity to ride on the track. They know how important it is for me, but it also can give advantage for my road campaign. I hope to repay the confidence of the team with some good results”, said Barbieri.
