Cédrine Kerbaol is reportedly set to leave EF Education-Oatly and join Team SD Worx-Protime for the 2027 season, despite the French rider having previously been linked with a move to Human Powered Health.
French newspaper Le Télégramme reports that Kerbaol has agreed to join the Dutch Women’s WorldTour team, with the information emerging around last weekend’s Classic Lorient Agglomération in Plouay. Neither SD Worx-Protime nor EF Education-Oatly has officially announced the transfer, so the move remains reported rather than confirmed.
It would be a significant change in direction for Kerbaol, who had been linked with Human Powered Health as that team continues an ambitious recruitment drive for 2027. Instead, she now appears set to join one of the strongest squads in women’s cycling alongside Lotte Kopecky, Lorena Wiebes and Mischa Bredewold.

Kerbaol’s reported move comes after another major step forward during 2026.
The 25-year-old won Stage 3 of La Vuelta Femenina with a late attack in A Coruña, finished second overall at the Tour de Suisse and then took sixth in the Tour de France Femmes, making her the highest-placed French rider in the final classification.
Those performances have increasingly established Kerbaol as more than an attacking stage hunter. Her climbing, descending and time-trial ability now make her a realistic general classification option in major stage races, while her aggressive style remains valuable in difficult one-day races.
She joined EF Education-Oatly ahead of 2025 after leaving Ceratizit-WNT and has spent two seasons with the American team. Her career already includes a solo Tour de France Femmes stage victory in 2024, when she became the first French stage winner of the modern race.
SD Worx continue building their 2027 squad
Kerbaol would add another versatile stage-racing option to a SD Worx-Protime roster already containing considerable depth.
The team has also confirmed Eline Jansen on a deal through 2028, with the Dutch rider expected to continue developing across the Classics and shorter stage races.
Kerbaol would arrive at a different point in her development. Sixth at the Tour de France Femmes and second at the Tour de Suisse already demonstrate her ability to lead at WorldTour level, giving SD Worx another rider capable of targeting GC while still being useful alongside its established leaders.
Her reported move will also be one of the most significant developments yet in the 2027 women’s cycling transfer market.
Two home races before Worlds
Kerbaol remains focused on racing in her native Finistère this weekend. She is due to contest the Tout commence en Finistère Ladies Classic on Saturday before Sunday’s Pointe du Raz Ladies Classic.
The latter should suit her particularly well, with the 2026 Pointe du Raz route featuring 18km of ribinoù and a demanding finishing circuit around Plouhinec.
Le Télégramme also reports that Kerbaol is expected to represent France at the World Championships in Montréal later this month and at the European Championships in Slovenia.
An official transfer announcement is still awaited, but the latest reporting now points firmly towards SD Worx-Protime rather than Human Powered Health as Kerbaol’s destination for 2027.
