Career overview
Tan became one of Singapore’s most notable modern road cyclists after coming into the sport relatively late and progressing quickly onto the international scene. She won the Tour of Phuket in 2021, took the Singapore national road race title in 2019 and became a multiple national time-trial champion. Her performances earned her a contract with Team BikeExchange-Jayco for 2022, making her one of the few Singaporean women to race at Women’s WorldTour level. Tan also represented Singapore at the Southeast Asian Games, with results including 8th in the 2019 road race and 7th in the 2021 criterium.
