Kirsten Wild (Retired)
Kirsten Wild is a retired Dutch cyclist who was one of the most successful sprinters and track endurance riders of her generation. Renowned for her power in bunch finishes, she collected more than 100 professional road victories alongside an exceptional track palmarès. Wild won major road races including Gent-Wevelgem and RideLondon Classique, while on the track she became a multiple world champion and earned an Olympic bronze medal in the Madison before retiring at the end of 2021.

Career overview
Wild developed into one of the dominant sprinters in women’s road cycling, winning more than 100 professional races across a career spanning almost two decades. Her victories included Gent-Wevelgem, RideLondon Classique, multiple stages of the Giro d’Italia Women and repeated overall success at the Tour of Qatar. She was equally formidable on the track, winning world titles across the scratch race, points race, omnium and Madison. Wild represented the Netherlands at three Olympic Games and won bronze in the Madison alongside Amy Pieters at Tokyo 2020. She completed her final road season with Ceratizit-WNT in 2021 before retiring from elite competition after the Track World Championships later that year.
