Loes Adegeest

Loes Adegeest is a Dutch professional cyclist who races for Lidl-Trek. A strong all-rounder with particular ability on hilly terrain and against the clock, she followed an unusual route into the Women’s WorldTour after combining road racing with speed skating and virtual cycling. Adegeest won the Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race in 2023 and is a two-time UCI Cycling Esports world champion, while her road palmarès also includes stage victories at the Tour de l’Ardèche and Volta Ciclista a Catalunya Femenina.

Career overview

Adegeest returned to elite road racing after spending time outside the professional peloton and enjoyed a breakthrough 2022 season with IBCT, winning a stage and finishing second overall at the Tour Cycliste Féminin International de l’Ardèche. She joined FDJ-SUEZ for 2023 and immediately won the Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race, her first Women’s WorldTour victory, while also defending her UCI Cycling Esports world title. Further road success included a stage victory at the 2025 Volta Ciclista a Catalunya Femenina. Adegeest moved to Lidl-Trek for 2026, finishing third in the Dutch road race championship and third in the Tour de Suisse individual time-trial while continuing to race across the Women’s WorldTour.
