Career overview

Persico enjoyed a breakthrough 2022 season, taking bronze at both the cyclocross and road World Championships, finishing fifth overall at the Tour de France Femmes and seventh at the Giro d’Italia Women, while also winning a stage of La Vuelta Femenina. She joined UAE Team ADQ for 2023 and won Brabantse Pijl before adding the Grand Prix du Morbihan in 2024 and Giro del Veneto Women in 2025. Persico has also twice become Italian cyclocross champion and finished second at the 2023 Gravel World Championships.
