Career overview
Reis was one of Portugal’s leading road riders of the 2010s, with repeated success in national championship races. She won Portuguese elite road race titles in 2015, 2016, 2018 and 2019, and elite time-trial titles in 2013, 2015, 2016, 2018 and 2019. Her international road career included spells with Lares-Waowdeals Women Cycling Team, Doltcini-Van Eyck Sport and Ciclotel, as well as appearances at the Giro d’Italia Internazionale Femminile, Tour of Flanders and World Championships. Reis finished 10th overall at the 2019 Vuelta a Burgos Feminas and also competed on the track, winning Portuguese titles in points race, scratch and individual pursuit events before retiring after the 2020 season.
